This narrow shawl is made of the sleeves of a gorgeous silk  "furisode (long-sleeved kimono)".  The tassel is custom-made of silk. Hand-sewn by Japanese artisans. This is one of the "Kyo-yuzen",  flowers and a folding fan (Suehiro) are an auspicious design. With gold leaf. This shawl is a bright red color and gradations of navy blue and yellow.
